Our Story
A sheet-metal shop that turned into a roofing company — locally owned in Missoula since 2015.
Cole Vandermeer spent nine years fabricating sheet metal before he ever put a roof on for himself. That job meant making the pieces other contractors bent wrong or skipped entirely — the chimney flashing, the valley transitions, the sidewall details. He kept getting called out to fix roofs that were failing not because the shingles were bad but because the metal around them was an afterthought. In 2015 he started this company to do it the other way around.
That is still the shape of the place. Metal roofing is what we are best at, and the same detail obsession carries over to the shingle work: ice-and-water shield run well past the wall line, soffit and ridge ventilation actually balanced, decking inspected instead of assumed. Field Supervisor Trent Okonkwo runs the crews and handles every storm and hail claim personally, and Office Manager Shauna Brindle keeps permits and long-lead metal orders from ever being the reason a job stalls.
We are not the cheapest bid in the valley and we do not try to be. We are the crew you call when you want the roof done once.

Material, fastener spec, ventilation, snow retention — all of it chosen for your pitch and exposure, not for what is easiest to install.
If the roof has years left in it, that is what we tell you. A patch we recommend today is worth more than a replacement you resent.
Every job, from a $500 ice-dam steam to a $30,000 metal roof, carries our workmanship warranty on top of the manufacturer's material warranty.
